About Us
The Acadia Disposal District is a quasi-municipal, non-profit corporation owned by the Member Towns: Cranberry Isle, Frenchboro, Mount Desert, Trenton, and Tremont, Maine.
We are organized and governed by a Board of Directors consisting of one representative from each Member Town, appointed by the Town. The Member Towns are represented equally; each town gets one vote.
